Learn about the mathematics of mechanical design and how to work with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools.

This workshop will cover mechanical design from both a theoretical and practical perspective. We'll talk about important math to know for calculating the properties of and working with mechanical components such as gears, chains, belts, pulleys, and motors, and discuss machine design as well. You'll also learn how to create and work with parts and assemblies in CAD software through hands-on activities, and then work together with peers on a design project that incorporates all you've learned.

No prior experience with the topic is required to attend!
