This workshop is intended for FRC teams interested in growing or improving their fundraising, awards, or marketing efforts, or just learning more about team sustainability.

We’ll start off talking about maintaining the business side of a team – developing a business plan and budget, raising funds, seeking out grants, networking with sponsors – as well as applying for and qualifying for FRC awards.

Then later in the day, we’ll dive into the marketing aspects - branding, effective social media and website management, running successful outreach events, and recruitment. We’ll have interactive and hands-on activities throughout, as well as lots of chances to discuss and share ideas and experiences with both other participants and the presenter team.

No prior experience is needed, but you should have some knowledge of what your team currently does for fundraising and marketing.

These sessions are developed and presented by students, alumni, and mentors of FRC teams 8, 254, 299, 604, 846, 1967, 2073, and 4159.
